“Magic Has No Borders” is an anthology series of short stories celebrating the magic of South Asian mythology. I had the honor of working with the art directors at Harper Collins to illustrate 2 stories, “Daughter of the Sun” by Sayantani DasGupta and “What the Wind Stole” by Sabaa Tahir.

Working on both illustrations allowed me the creative freedom to envision the characters from these tales and bring them to life in a symbolic, meaningful way. It was such a pleasure to be able to take my own interests in mythology and apply them to such a beautiful project that the younger me would have loved to read.
